Just a peak until..
Dear 2020,
I know we did not get off to the best start, a bumpy beginning to this journey of ours. No love at first site, no star struck dreamy eyes or longing gaze, hell I wasn't even certain we would even get a chance to meet and if we did, what sort of relationship this would be?
The neglect and pains I still had from the year's past relationship, made me cautious to say the least, so with sweaty palms a beating heart, and of course a push from God, a timid approached you did received.
Although cautious, received me you did, with a warm embrace and a gentle smile, you gave me you one month at a time.
slowly and slowly we began to open up and look at thing with a different eye and soon enough, a little light came through, hope sprang anew.
