I'm sorry if i haven't made the message clear. My actions are purely those of self-preservation and self-love, they have nothing to do with you or your family. I did not come to your son's Bar Mitzvah because the man that molested me was there. I am very happy for you that you have a relationship with our father, that's your choice and between you and him. However, I cannot have any contact with him, for my own emotional and physical health. Not having contact with my family has nothing do do with the way I feel about you. I love you and always will. This is not about what we might have done to each other, or not done for each other. One day, when I'm emotionally healthy enough to see your face and hear your voice, I hope that you'll be willing to sit down and work out all of our issues together and start over. Until that day, you'll be in my heart and thoughts.
