I just wanna say thank you for the chance.
Thank you for the love and affection.
Thank you for being there, even when everyone else showed me their backs.
Thank you for believing in me, even when everyone else despised me.

I know your smile to me is the truest I'll ever find.
You're the true definition of a hero and from you Dad I'm inspired.
You keep pushing and ain't giving up even when things gets tough.
You're the best dad, and a mere thank you will forever not be enough.

I admire the way you move mountains with your mere words.
The way you build me mentally with your piece of advice.
The way you're keeping a smile even when nothing's alright.
I swear you're the strongest I've ever known in my whole life.
Dear Dad
You're the reason I've come this far.
You're the reason I'll be called a Doctor in a few years to come.
You're the reason I battle these medical concepts, with an empty tummy, yet ain't giving up.
I know you've sacrificed much and I won't be able to pay up.
But I just wanna make you and my mama proud, even though that will never be enough.
