It's not your fault, my friend, 
Sometimes things just don't mend. 
You tried your best, I know, 
But, our paths had to let go.
It's not that you weren't enough, 
Or that our friendship was tough. 
It's just life's mysterious way, 
Of leading us on different pathways.
You gave me laughter, joy, and cheer,
But time moves on, my dear, 
And with it, people grow and change, 
And sometimes our connections estrange.
Please don't think you did something
wrong.
Our friendship was just not meant to be
lifelong, 
But know that I am grateful for the time

And memories we made, a treasured
event.
