Dear friend

Dear friend

‎When it all happened,

‎When she took to the bed,

‎Deep long nights in her ward,

‎I was alone.

‎When she laid there breathless,

‎Oxygen tank restless,

‎Her soul carving out of her,

‎I was alone.

‎When she took her last breathe,

‎The cold night of 26th,

‎Her lifeless body lay-eth,

‎I was alone.

‎When they buried her body,

‎Her soul had left already,

‎Memories of her on replay,

‎I was alone.

‎So, who are you?

‎To call yourself my friend,

‎When I need you the most,

‎I saw you the least

‎You, my ally I think not.
