Dear Oblivion

If oblivion were a room I'd never go into the outside world, for there I'd feel protected.
My thoughts would no longer own me, and insomnia would have to disown me, and at dawn I'd feel well rested.
The silence gets louder and consciousness seem clearer. Now I can't resist to shiver as my body gets weaker.
This sense of a weakness deafens me.Now I'm trapped in my mind. Which proves to be too vulnerable to cradle the clarity I seek to find.
If oblivion was mine to take, and use to my own leverage. Only then can I escape the "intercepting paralles" of my mind that are so deeply embedded.
