I understand im childless
But...
I know how it feels to be misunderstood
To be taken unseriously
To be told i don't know how i feel
Hear people say the famous phrase
"Your just a kid, you don't understand"
How would you know?
You don't listen
Don't try to understand
You don't hear what's being said
You're too focused on what you want
What you feel they should understand
Kids and Teens are smarter than you think
Your kids are humans too
They can feel, can think
They understand way more than you think
You're still in the 80's probably farther than that
This is the 20th Century
You're so focused on the past
You're missing the future
Causing your child pain
Let them be what they want to be
Let them love who they want
It's their life, their path
Not yours
You lived yours, living yours
Now its their turn
Don't you want them happy
If you try to control them
Will they be happy?
