Dearest Daughter

I never knew how much a smile was worth or how much your happiness gives peace,
I remember before you, I was just a lost boy swallow man in river with pan, searching of my next dime in rough, that golden piece,
But God gave me more than I ask for as hecdelights in irony,
And he always teaching a true lesson and intricate with stories plot twists entirely,
So when the given small blessings lit up my world with joy and hope with it came with such fear,
As I hold, protect, cherish, adore, always seeing you anew with beauty, and my only wish and fight is for people to see you as your are to me, God's gift, fear that I want always be able to lift and give you that confidence here,
Prince of men or Prince thieves appear,
And one day they will become either to be the truth or lie,
They will come in score to be measured by definition either to make you happy or make you cry,
And though there's nothing I can do to stop this surge, I can teach, show value, and take you out to show you what to accept for nothing, as I speak prayers to the universe to make reality my plan that you will find a King of men that loves and understands,
Then I can look at you mother and smile in submission at your wedding walking you by the hand, my darling,
To a man of all my strength, none of my weakness, handsome, at best a better man,
But as I age please don't forget this old man, and just like in your youth as I was at heights of your hero, as I venture into the dark world I fear, a world without you, my darling,
Please reach out and cradle my fragile skin,
Hold my hand, I will see you again,
Love always, your best friend,
