In stars I see our constellations,
Living side by side,
One sparkle slightly brighter than the other,
As the silver veil fills the sky,

Time passes by so quick, it seems,
You’ve grown so much it feels a dream,
Where once your hand wrapped round my finger,
Like a gift wrapped soft in gentle pink,

I remember your giggles while singing songs,
The teases that had you softly frown,
Your cries when something went so wrong,
Moments like art I still hold now,

And now you’re almost at my height,
I watch the light within your eyes,
It shines brighter with every day,
Sometimes it makes me want to cry,

And though I’m far, know this my little one,
I’m always there for you,
Through storms, through rains, through all to come,
I’ll always, forever, love you...
