Death Row

First day in prison was okay,
I knew I'd see the next day,
Time then blew away,
Walls of my cell became thin,
It occurred to me I'll be dead spring,
I secretly regretted my sin,
No one wants to die;especially not me,
My heart pained with cry;in the ground I'd soon be,
Feeling guilty I can try;but it still won't set me free,
I pushed people away with my crime,
Maybe I can make amends before I ran out of time,
Their forgiveness would wash some of my grime,
I never respected life,
Till this day that mine is on the line,
I really don't want to die,
The prison Warden told me to make my peace,
Before I live this life to an abyss,
How the hell did I end up like this?
On my final day I'll choose a last meal,
I don't know how to feel,
My life now feels unreal,
As I watch the sunset from my cell bar,
I hope behind have left a memorable scar,
To those few that cared for me;I'll be another fallen star,
