O

Deathbed

On a peaceful young bed I lay my old head,
I shall take a snooze and dream of a new genesis
While I travel in the midnight,
Felicity now my heart blooms,
May my journey towards the grand flat
Be thou fabulous truth o Lord,
The grand father clock hath called again,
At this time there be no snooze button
For this is a time for a weary old bone
To rest with the great fathers,
And may I not see the vermilion hall of felons,
Ferry man please take me across the river,
Four score, and ten now, quite a torrid reach,
A grappling iron not enough to grapple my sailing boat,
Pacific realm be not a grail,
Let the grand piano sing me a dirge of peace
While I journey to meet the Grand jury,
And may I not be missed, but remembered.
