Death•Swarm (Reckoning)

(Ruins of Life)
Cast dread to sever ties!
Enslave, to crush all opposition in force.
In-censed by the wretched few
who keep mindlessly feeding
the beast in all of us.
Long lost the blinded faith-
Far gone, the common ground.
Forewarned of this cold wind coming,
still caution drowns in the dark of night..
Here lies our King of Kings
Succumb to the rot, quartered,
Broken and stoned...
We are the Witnesses
of this beckoning judgment.
Far across the fall
of night they come.
The crows of the black
will seize the throne.
Behold these splintered minds,
shattered lines of steel,
each on a path their own.
The blur is all we see;
Yet firm, we lay in our own blood.
Release the dragons fire
to bring the kingdom to its knees..
Witnesses of a judgment
called forth from the depths.
(our sentence)Now the reaper Beckons,
Bring the kingdom to its knees
We set fire to the reigns,
For one's own liberation –
(A personal reckoning)
For in our hearts lie
a death swarm of reckoning!
Lifetimes of Ruin,
not the clearest of lines
we've seen from the shadows.
With all the missteps
we've made before.
(Experiencing our sins
in the waking state)
Finally I met at full sight,
Invited in , accepted these
abominable ruins of life.
Like a cold, constant breach easyness
(A pale serenity owned by the
darkness that swallows it's own sun)
Time to look deep
in the heart of our rift.
At the same time see
the consequence of our reason-s...
It plays like a fixated passion
That keeps obsessively sharpening its blade.
Voracious hunger dragging us deeper
inside the unknowable.
Our pulse is breathing its life,
A finite awakening, cutting like a sword
that’s been kissed by a flame.
Just dragging us deeper down..
