Today is much warmer

The snow is melting

Dripping sounds all around

Not good for sledding

Slippery conditions

Watch where you step

One miscalculation

And you then slip

On to your bottom

The feeling is not nice

Slamming down fast

On to the very hard ice

Lots of cars going by

Speeding past quickly

To their destinations

Moving very swiftly

It just turned five pm

The sun is going down

Soon will be darkness

It will be black all around

Winter is here awhile

Cold weather will stay

Thoughts of spring now

Only a few months away
