The snow was falling earlier

We received another inch maybe

I hope it doesn't get much deeper

Too much makes traveling crazy

It's very chilly to the fingers

Exposed too long you feel it

You'll need to wear slippers

Walking around the house a bit

Shoveling is a tough chore

After ten or so centimeters fall

It's not something you can ignore

When it builds up that's your call

Constant changes in temperature

Makes the snow melt and then freeze

Something that is not very popular

Walking on ice, I think you would agree

After a good coating of white snow

There are so many outdoor activitiies

Snowboarding and skating undergo

Cross country skiing and other festivities

I don't mind the cold snowy weather

I prefer it over the blistering heat

But the other two seasons are better

Autumn and spring are such a treat
