Declare me Innocent, O God
for I am weak
they cause me to stumble
but you cause me to cling.
They shame me in their own minds
but you show me love in this world
they mock me down to feet
but you comfort me with your words,
that makes my heart surrender in complete.
I am silent in your place
even if I am discourage in displace
for I will praise you in whatever case
I will not cause your name disgrace
I feel your embrace
in the middle of this rocky race.
You gave me grace
and make my pile of sins erase.
O lord, I beg you to replace
but you said “my grace us sufficient for you”
what can I say when it comes from you?
That’s why I decided to take my confidence in you.
For when I am weak, I am strong
My persecutions are still minor
unlike the other apostles
yet you gave me love more than I need
how can I out give?
I now understand how to weep
and be dependent in you in my knees
My tears are not wasted
For He promise me sounding triumph
Lord I pray for my enemies
if there’s chance let them be redeem
even if they hate me for no reason
If it cause you delight
I will let you give light
Mold me as you plan
shape me as you discipline
help me understand as you teach
For my faith is in you,
where can I have trust, unless it’s you?
help me rise as I stumble
help me grow as I endure
Until I will lack nothing in faith
For I cannot wait already to see you
And I don’t want my suffering here
be meaningless too,
for I long to have you
Please God help me anew.
