Deep down you are depressed
Yet up out , us you try to impress
What lies hidden from the eye
Only you know
Why are you alone
All on your own
Claiming you are an introvert
Going against the call of nature
Acting tough and mature
You fear approaching the opposite gender
Battling low self-esteem
Spending the whole day watching movies
How will you conquer what you can't confront
In the absence of fear lies faith
Pressure from your peers
Yourself with injections you pierce
Drowning in alcohol in the name of living once
Trying to forget that past lover
Wondering why you couldn't have her
We can see it your eyes
Hear it in your words
There is a way out
Someone willing to help
On your knees fast and pray
On that righteous path aim to stay
For the statutes of God are not burdensome
Act in faith
Acknowledge your weaknesses
You feel insecure
To your illness there is a permanent cure
Don't doubt be sure
His grace and favour will end this persistent fever
