Its presnese made known
The atmosphere shifts drastically
Cooling the air to a spine tingling degree
A loud crash can be heard in the kitchen
The chandelier above the dining table rocks violently
Dishes lie scattered across the marble floor
Tiny pieces of glass become hazardous
I look over to see my families reaction
Their petrified by the proclamation of a ghost
No, something truly horrifying
Probably on the lines of a devil
I can see the look of horror on the surface of their shivering bodies and wide eyes
Wait, are they watching me closely?
When plates and bowls are still flying about
Smashing into the walls and cabinets alike
This violent tantrum does not seem likely to stop
Now that I think of it, why am I so calm?
While they are reeking of fear, from my presense?
The ghost is the one causing the disaster
Oh wait, I can see their mouths moving
Yelling, are they yelling?
I can see, but can't hear their voices
Something feels strange
I can feel a burning sensation from my hands
Seemingly snapping back to reality I realize I have ceramic and glass embedded in my flesh
A plate is in my right hand begging me to cause chaos
That's right, this isn't some supernatural occurance
This isn't a ghost in the literal sense
No, it's the ghost within me that takes every chance it can to come out
And causes me to take part in abominable actions
My pills, where are my pills!?
Beginning to panic, I race to the cupboard
Grab the orange cylinder, and pop the cap
Gulping down two white pills
My senses are less foggy and my thoughts more clear
Their voices are finely reaching me, and I hate it
My brother is crying because I'm scarier than any ghost he'll ever see
My parents are trying to calm me because I'm the demon they will always have to bargan with
The only way to supress the ghost within me is to take
Take, take, and take
Locking up the intangible and invisible monster inside of me
The only ghost I will ever be afraid of
Is horrifyingly me
