°Mystic Tongue°

the forest calls my name with a thousand voices,
the breeze carries whispers on an ancient tongue,
hopping to find a set of ears to nest.
a unique call that suffocates my soul,
shrouding my being on its majestic rhapsody,
company for the loneliness which walks beside me.
the scarlet face of the sun begins to peek over the horizon,
piercing the dense canopy of leaves,
illuminating the old path where I tred on bare feet.
a simple man with mistakes on his back,
leaning his weight on his amber staff as he walks,
sharing his memories with the forest.
and the forest takes him in.
