All I want is something I'll never have,
Cause I know that chance has moved on,
I've wasted away all the chances to change,
The outcome of that loves denouement,
It's now just a memory of what should have been,
And I'll carry that regret till the day I die,
I'll never know how my life should have been,
If I hadn't let our happily ever after slip on by,
All I ever wanted and all I ever needed,
In my life has c9me to its final denouement,
And I have to accept that my happy ending,
Is something only my regrets can carry on.
