A body tired and Broken
Pain and misery Awoken
A life with out direction
A journey in search of perfection
Step by step so tiring
Thinking of you inspiring
A brief moment to rest
A driving passion to be best
Deliberate and steady my traits
Charming and friendly ingratiates
Seeing far away places
Staring at all the faces
Sometimes it’s hard for others to see
Not easy being me
Storm brewing inside my head
Listening to others , instead
Letting go of painful thoughts
As I drown the noise with whiskey shots
This path that I have traveled down
As I dust off this perpetual frown
Strength given to me to finish this race
Disappear to a hiding place
Far away from you
Give me a moment to renew
Have I not entertained you
Let you have the grand view
Given you things you’ve never had
Leaving me all alone and sad
This depression consumes me
Not letting me be
Trying to ride out the raging sea
Hoping someone will hear my plea
