A

Depression Gets The Best Of Me

In the depths of the night, where shadows do play,
Depression, my foe, has held me in dear.
Yet, I'll pen down my thoughts, let my feelings unfurl,
In the form of a poem, let my story be heard.
A shroud of gray clouds, my heart's somber sky,
Where laughter once echoed, now its only a
sighs lie.
Yet, in the darkness, a glimmer of light,
A beacon of hope, in the blackest of nights.
Depression, you're strong, but I am stronger,
In the face of despair, I'll cower no longer.
You may be a tempest, but I am the sea,
Endlessly battling, I'll break free.
For I am a warrior, my spirit won't break,
With every dawn, a new resolve I'll make.
Depression, you've met your match in me,
In the dance of life, I'll find my spree.
In the canvas of pain, I'll paint my joy,
Depression, you're but a transient ploy.
In the symphony of life, I'll find my song,
With courage and hope, I'll journey along.
So, here's my poem, my feelings laid bare,
A testament to resilience, a testament to care.
Depression, you're a battle, a part of my story,
But I'll write the ending, in all its glory.
