When I close my eyes this side of life
I wonder if I'd have done enough
When my hourglass runs empty
And my soul has been set free
When my eyes no longer see
What will they say about me
Did I touch your heart with kindness
Have I showered you with love
Did I in anyway ease the stress
And was me being there enough
For you to find your own way
When I leave I hope it will be okay
All I want is to make a difference

For someone who went astray
So they can find their way
The night befalls us fast

Time has come to take rest
From the weiry world outside
