Taking this life
As all we can see
Is harder at times
Then we wish to believe
It can get rough
Lost without the light
You give it your all
As you stand and fight
It may seem to you
That it's getting nowhere at all
But you have to keep going
To prevent the fall
It takes some time
As you slowly succeed
Only because you tried hard
And you believed
You accomplish so much
With a simple I can
Keep telling yourself that
You can make that stand
It's all finally over
That weights off your chest
And it's all because you know
That you did your best.
