The Argentine who made football famous,
The one who got the World Cup for his country,
And the mentor of many footballers,
Especially, our number ten Lionel Messi;
Our Maradona was the most talented footballer,
After the great Pelé.
He exited football for a strange reason
Which he was not involved,
Yet he did not give up on it
Even at his old ages.
He atleast made Argentina
A proud country of footballers
And FC Barcelona,
The best League FC in the world.
Had not been him there,
We could not have seen greats
Especially those who play today's football.
But everyone has to die,
In any manner,
And we football fans have been left
With a broken heart,
All ready to cry upon his demise.
