I never thought I’d be here today
If it wasn’t for the good lords save.
I almost died in 2009, but I am here and alive.
I’ve always been a different kid.
I’ve never fit in
But I know he made me different for a reason
So I’m going to discover that purpose.
See I know what God has gifted me with, but does he really want me to do something with it?
I don’t know if I should do this or that, but I know God has so much more than that.
Do I go left or do I go right? Should I put up this fight?
All these voices in my head tell me I’m something I’m not, and I can’t help but listen to them nonstop.
I keep telling myself I’m better than this, but I don’t know to fix this mess.
So I reach out to you Lord, for strength and guidance, For i don’t know how to control what I’m seeing, but to hide how I’m feeling.
It’s up to you wether or not you’re gonna change.
So I encourage you to stand up and mark your name.
So that you will live with an open mind and an open heart, and realize being different isn’t all that hard.
