I wasn’t supposed to love you,
Yet there I was falling for you,
Well, it wasn’t my serendipity,
Because it was only my fantasy.
Albeit, it is a little too late for regret,
Since our existing amity was under threat,
Well it was kind of my mistake,
I can’t shirk the error I made.
It wasn’t supposed to end that way,
Still I don’t know why I wanted you to stay,
Well, I did find a friend in you,
But having an ego is a difficult virtue.
