You won t see us in hospitals working on the wards.
As we are the ones taking care of your loved ones in
there own home.
Our days are long and we work so hard,and never ask for anything
in return,
as our only concern is you do not feel left on your own.
As we will always be there for you ,nothing issue is to big
or small ,we will help and be there for you ,when you feel no
hope is left insight.
we support families,and patients at the end of there life,
this is the job we do, because we care and understand ,
how you feel and do everything we can for you ,to be your
guiding light.
we stay around and support you,not because it's our job,
but because we really care.
we care how you feel,and help you work through the days.
The days you see no light in sight,we will try and guide you
through your bad days.
As we always want to do our best and be there for you ,
we may wear uniforms,but we are human too.
We maybe the only friendly face you see,and we will always
spend time and listen to you ,you see.
We are not just hear to help you with medical problems,but
to make sure your mental well being is in tact too,
because our job is to help and support,
and continue this we will.
We give our very best ,even when tired out,with long hours,
and endless driving,that completely wears us out.
We will always have a smile and do our very best,
because you are our patients,to who we care and respect.
I have nothing but respect for the job that you do,and I
feel your not given the recognition you deserve ,as you
play a extremely important role ,to all the job roles it includes.
So to all our district nurses I want to say a massive thank you
too.
As we would all be lost without very special people like you .
