A

Divinity Within

Strength!  to deny us,
so I trust in my instincts.
Breathe! when I'm drowning.
Life! when I'm lying dead.
Hearts! mend the pieces-
so many dreams
have been shattered-
love is crucified &
forgiveness is denied...
The betrayal, is so hard
for our victims to fathom.
Burn every word,
every page, Every Letter!!
Confide in no one!
Confide in nothing!
(It's All Bound up in Violence)
When our heart is questioned?
(Honor never dies!)
When our beliefs are tested.
Keep our Fists up, & head high!
We can own the world tonight...
(One flame can light a million)
Own our world!..
It's in our hands..
Own our world!
(Strive to find the
Human Heart!)
At all Cost!
Lift the blade &
Light the fire of soul,
to hold back the storm
that's tearing through.
In a world where the
masses are(Spiritless!)
Make our stand!
Burn the bridge to safety.
(Put it all on the line)
Burn that bridge!
To the place where our fear lives..
Standing here
feeling alone again,
as my words fail
to hit their mark.
I'm towering in silence,
straining my thoughts, to create.
Words! are not safe.
There's no stasis!
No fixing the broken places.
I see just one more
chance for redemption.
(A so-called {selfish}
child's dream of ascension)
End the conflict
with the unknown.
Before the struggle ends us.
This could be the day?
Things only fall in
the hands we raise.
(We are the secret watchers)
Maybe the light is fading,
As the tunnel closes in.
But who are we to see blindly,
As this journey is just beginning.
Forgetting...
The devil we thought
we never knew-
Is now the one that
knows us best.
(Now we must end this
Twisted amalgamation)
I try to forget yesterday.
When I'm living
through today.
And I don't know
what tomorrow brings-
or what it might take away.
Let's scream
an anthem
for our dying day,
for every Individual soul,
for every nation Indivisible...
Becoming a supreme bond,
no force can sever.
The time is never
better determined.
These words, our like
a generation bruised
& battered, screaming,
broken & bleeding...
(Expressing Pain)
I feel I've grown
colder than any other.
My precious stone Overturned.
(I'm on my way)
I've grown warm to the frozen
earth under my feet & the wind
of the times at my back.
Now scabbed & cracked-
I've grown, just like
the bloodline of the heritic
fathers & their fathers.
Through the endless storm
I've grown colder,
beyond my beliefs.
Will this ever cease?
It's begun-
Choosing our hell.
(There are no exceptions)
I don't want to be
another dead man breathing.
For those who
once rejoiced;
I feel cold for those
living in fear & hatred,
for those who can't
escape their grief.
For the mercy of
whose looking down
upon the silent graves,
of all who once
paid for sins.
For all those who
wasted trust, opening
the gates without
acknowledging the cost.
Hands cannot drown
the sounds of the
(Innocent screaming)
I'll curse & fight-
till my heart stops beating.
Until my heart stops!
Now I see divinity
(The divinity of purpose)
I heard the message-
(Above Discord!)
Channeling the hate within-
Feeling the pain of discipline-
Was less than that of regret...
Lifting one foot from the grave
when purpose showed its face.
And even on my weakest days-
(Divinity helped me find the strength)
When the odds were
stacked against me.
(I needed someone
I could trust)
And when the world
left no place for me.
(I needed someone
by my side)
And when the skies
crashed down upon me.
I looked for
someone by my side
You were there,
when no one else was
You showed me
what's born doesn't always die..
My divinity-
Is that nothing scars me.
What becomes as the
red sight that sees life-
Lies in the mouths
that birth them,
sworn to abide,
Cutting the lifeless pieces,
rotted by time
Strangled by shadows
in the coldest light.
Nothing they say
scares me anymore
Reminding myself
of acceptance- of matters
I'll never control.
So save me from
the venom-
Our time is
served better saving
what's left of our soul.
You told me
what was never said.
You showed me
who was hopellesly
done wrong
Those visions came to pass-
Those needle tears are gone.
This world will
never scar what's inside me.
Now I'm the one who decides.
