The street will point,
There are people I’ll disappoint,
We have formed a tight joint,
So it doesn’t matter what they want.
Separation they won’t stop to cause,
They will use words and traditional laws,
But they won’t even put a simple pause,
Let them know to us doesn’t matter.
They will say we are committing a sin,
Or try to destroy our love from within,
Some will even try to come in between,
But it doesn’t matter.
I’ll love you no matter the situation,
I’ll hold you tight no matter the contradiction,
I’ll stand by you no matter the humiliation,
My love to you matters more than their frustration.
I’ll let the world know about this love,
I won’t use a simple bird but a dove,
