Domestic violence Survivors advocate. It is what I became—being a victim in my past. But now I am out. The nights are short, and the days are long. I have to savor the storm. Now, I am looking for the rainbow. But I am here to chase my dream. Because not one person will ever take my dream away. But my dream was the answer. I was looking to rise and shine. That makes me a Survivor. Then I realized I was the light.
