Don't Come True

I still remember those summer nights. Those late night calls, those late night chats I once could reach you with just one snap. Those late night workouts, and what came with it. The drunk nights I showed up on the bike. I used to say dumb shit just to make you hold me tight. Oh nights like those, I fucking miss it. Now a days I just wonder where you're at.
I wrote so many pages of words I wish I could've said to you. I never knew how to say it, or write it too. A few times I tried to reach out to you, but I couldn't. The few times I did, well I couldn't reach out to you. I wrote for hours, then erased. Wrote for more, just to lose some more. These words wouldn't let me be, and the pride in me couldn't let that be.
In these last poems I spoke of memories, that won't let me be. But I don't want to remember any more. I want to move on just like you, and nights like those these wishes don't come true. I can't continue to mourn a person still alive. It hurts, and makes me feel more dead inside, and I don't blame you. It's just my head with a mess inside. I know moving on I'm still going to miss you, and part of me hopes you do too. But I'm no longer dreaming or wishing for you. Like I said
THOSE NIGHTS WISHES DON'T COME TRUE...
