Hiding on a shelf
I gathered dust
Like an old bust
I changed color
There was no duster
To make me shine
Or get me in line
But then you saw me
Showed me who I could be
Though I couldnt see
What you saw in me
I am blessed to have you
To guide me through
Every up and down
I know I'm not alone
I thought it came natural
But you said not at all
It takes some effort
To appear effortless
So if you make a mess
Get back to the start
And try till you get it
