Why do people smoke?
All it does is choke
Your lungs
And hugs
Slightly
Too tightly
To others
It's like lightning
It doesn't just hurt you
It hurts the ones around you
It blasts through you
Then chews on the left overs
It's a wind blower
You literally take a shower
In smoke, if you're a bystander
Second hand smoke is just as dangerous
It can be worse for kids
It could ruin their brains
Could turn them into empty bins
I mean, why start?
It smells worse than a fart
It can't possibly taste good
I know it's addicting
But it's more pain inflicting
How do people even start?
It's not very smart
There's nothing about it that's alluring
It's not controlling
Not until it's been inhaled
Then it will prevail
All you can really do, is hope
That the last thing you do, is smoke
