I feel them coming up
I have to push them down

I saw a man that looked just like my dad
For split second
I felt he was alive again
All I could do was stare
As he bought a ipa
And loaded fries
I had always wished
I could see him
Just one more time
I got the next best thing
I saw his doppelganger twin
In those few minutes
I remembered his love
I felt his spirit
Inside of me
I was thinking of him
I know he was thinking of me
The moment was so powerful
It moved me to tears
My fathers love is always
In my heart
No time or space
Could ever change that
It was just meant for me
To see his face
In a dobbelganger
At the football field
Walking just like my dad
I watched him walk off
With tears in my eyes
Just like that
He was gone
