The ducks and geese

Are making noise quite loud

Quacking and splashing

All of them in a crowd

"Hey!".... one calls

"Ya !??" ....the other replies

He shouts "Are you Paul !???"

"Yes I am !!!!" he implies

Yells "Get ready for fall!!"

Paul says "Oh ....you guys!!!"

One calls out to the night

The other adds its opinion

Back and forth they quack

Soon four or five join in

"Hey Paul" says Bob

"Yes?!?" paul responds

Bob says"do you like to be bop!?"

Paul insists "you mean in the pond!!?"

Bob remarks "no on the shore beyond!!!"

Paul tells him "why yes I am very fond!!!"

Bob , happy says " now we bond "

For a few chaotic moments

The sounds are frantic

Then silence suddenly

They realize it was too dramatic

Bob screams hysterically "My gosh"

The other geese look in wonder

"What is this goulash ?"

A close by geese whispers "special soup"

Bob is upset and says "I want a fresh pot made"

Betty his wife hears this and sternly says " no way "

Betty explains, "this is leek soup you wanted a week ago because you seen it on tv "

"I toiled and turmoiled for something you asked for"

"You will eat it and enjoy it and be content "

Bob now embarrassed "Oh I forgot , didn't recognize it , sorry dear "

Bob then ate it and was very satisfied
