Dream Kiss

White lies black truth
Like the tales meant for fairies
We found our moment in the rain
It took only a gaze
Thank goodness she isn't Medusa
Summoned the courage to take a bite
A bite of what seemed like Elixir
Sweet and sour strawberry taste
Soon the rain felt like dew
And the dashing light of hasty drivers
Felt like cameras
Indeed it was a scene to behold
I stole a moment to take a peek
Her eyes were shut; shut to the brink
Innocent perfection; pure bliss
We are both unschooled in this art
Affairs of the heart
I never imagined this moment without a hitch
Her upper lips so soft
Soft and sensitive like an ear loop
I could feel her heartbeat mingled with mine
Breath fading slightly as our lips parted slowly
I was reluctant to let go
My neck stretched as hers withdraw
It was indeed a beautiful moment
Her tender slippery nails stroke my neck
I swear I still feel the chill
I could hear the wind sing poetry
Wake-up son it's Monday morning
Just a dream
