Money is my kind of poetry
Money is the kind of name
that represents the
sentence at the bottom
of the long green,
bill, safe, stash, bread,
paper or just plain dough.
"In God We Trust."
"In God We Trust" line
Stands out so much to me
on the dollar bill.
The short line tells me that
God can be trusted
anywhere and what we do with his money.
We put our trust in the
Paper money,
we put our faith in the
Dollar bills when our
First check of the month
Comes to put in the
Rent money, gas money,
Light money, storage money.
"In God We Trust" in our
savings. We use our money
with wisdom and trust
to save up for our future,
Our goals, our side gigs,
our wants for dresses and suits to wear for ongoing
And upcoming events.
We use money in
Various love wants and needs.
Some of us use the dollar
Bill for greed, users,
addiction,
Drugs, madness,
Murder, scams,
Fancy items, and
The love of spending money
Daily, but that is the wrong way we put trust in the dollar.
They chock it up, shell
It out. Watch it burn holes
Through the pockets of jeans
And wallets.
To have it to burn away!
The Greenback, the Paper backs, big double eagles,
Silver eagles embedded
on the paper.
Now with megabucks,
When we reached to
A sum of megabucks,
We put our trust in a
Sum of cash we supposed
To maintain and use for
our future with wisdom and trust to save up for our future,
Our goals, our side gigs,
our wants for dresses and suits to wear for ongoing
And upcoming events.
Money grows a nest,
Money breeds money,
Gathering our interest,
Tendencies, compounding our
daily routines.
money always in circulation.
Money, anything,
anything,
anything for money, lie
To you, cry to you, it will sell your soul to the devil.
Money talks to us spiritually
And mentally.
Money talks to us with
The negative, and with
The positive.
People will do anything
For the greed of money
These days.
In this season of Covid-19,
Is teaching me how to
Save my money more
Wisely.
I put my trust in my savings
For the future, bills,
Goods, and of course
With wants, but not so
Often.
I use money wisely.
I use my Link Card wisely
Going to the grocery stores.
Trust your money, as you
trust God.
