Dull Sunshine 🌻

When I arose, the sun did not
It all happened beyond my thought.
The tides were high
And gliding by
Were the shapeless clouds that day
No flamingo, no oyster nor the blaze of the
sun came to the shore
I was amidst the hopvines
Wrapped in my pinafore.
The petrichor that day was too toxic
The roof of my abode was sick
Swinging from side to side the breeze past the
trees green
The dull sunshine was a landmark on the
everyday serene.
The dawn sky was raining vacuum
I was encompassed by sunflowers
Reaping what I had sown was cumbersome...
The flowers which were phototropic
Gave me view kaleidoscopic
The sunshine was so dull
The sunfowers turned out
Leaving my heart void and null.
I, the moron as haters say
Living far off the seas
To my utter dismay
Felt shattered as a glass broken
Even the dry heated sand was soaken.
As my failing senses five
I found it hardy to thrive
All attired in my pinafore
I stood there panting
With a shook core
And me succumbing to my fainting.
Dimlight was the daylight
Or was I myself was full of contempt
For my plight
It was a daunting task
To withstand the dull sunshine
The winds which blew brushing past the
desolation of mine.
Relenquished I gave myself
Subdued by a dull sunshine..
