I have been knocked down,
I have gotten back up.
I have been pushed down,
I have gotten back up.
I have been kicked down,
Life has surely tried to knock me out of this race, yet I will get back up.
Dust myself and place a smile upon face and start out,
Step for step I've got this, for its my turn!
For I must keep going regardless of how many times I get knocked down.
I must get up and show I am strong,
I must show that I am not weak.
I stand strong and dust myself off, for I'm not for going to show that I'm weak.
For regardless of how many times I've been down I will get back up.
