I can't help but be me, which means sometimes I hold back. On something good that's right in front of me, which is a trait I sure wish I lacked. Because  I think about you everyday, but still I never say a word. Not a good morning, are you doing okay or even what have you heard? I'm not sure why, but I'm sure I need to change this. Because I would hate for our opportunity to grow, to surely be one we missed. An just know however this turns out between us, we can always be friends. Whether we only go out on one date, or we find ourselves saying "I'll love you until the end." We're both fresh off breakups, so I understand if you're not trying to rush. The only thing about that is, I want to be the only one to make you blush. So as they say, from my lips to your ears. I hope this poem, only brings the happiest of tears.
