I drift off into my mind, hoping to make it through
Tempted with evil; lies, deceit, this shade of blue is all too true.
Why do we open ourselves to the unseen without knowing?
We spend our lives selfishly worried about growing
We don't think of the consequences, only living in the time being
But when we actually see the devil is when we are worried about agreeing.
Why do the people who love you leave,
and the people who hate you stay?
Day by day we struggle to survive,
just hoping to see another day.
The majestic earthly wonder will get us all;
yet, instead of run, all we do is crawl.
