Echo

Echo

There are moments

when I sit with myself

and feel emotions rise

that I don’t have names for

a mix of tiredness,

soft sadness,

and a quiet longing

for something I can’t explain.

My life isn’t falling apart,

but it isn’t simple either.

It’s a slow climb

one I make alone,

step by careful step,

carrying thoughts

that feel heavier at night.

Sometimes I wish

I could lay all my feelings out

like scattered papers

and finally understand

why my heart feels so full

and so empty

at the same time.

There’s no dramatic story here

just the truth of living,

of trying to grow in silence,

of fighting small battles

that leave invisible marks.

I feel things deeply,

even when I don’t show it.

I overthink quietly,

care quietly,

hurt quietly,

heal quietly.

And somehow,

through all of it,

I keep moving

not because everything is okay,

but because some part of me

refuses to give up.

I’ve come through days

where my chest felt tight

with emotions I couldn’t explain,

where I held myself steady

through storms no one saw.

And still,

I’m here.

My life may not be perfect,

and my path may not be clear,

but every day I’m learning

how strong I really am

how much I’ve carried,

how much I’ve survived,

how much I’ve grown

without anyone telling me how.

And maybe that’s the quiet

beauty of my life

that even in the softest sadness,

even in the silent struggle,

I am still becoming

someone braver

than I’ve ever been.
