Not very much but just enough,
I heard the song you showed me,
And I'll admit it was a bit tough,
My lif is somewhere further now,
So right now I can't afford all the pains,
But still as that song entered my ear,
I'm reminded of a pain that remains,
Looking down at your name,
Makes me hold back tears again,
I can't help myself from remembering,
What once was but never could have been,
Hoping it fades away soon,
And I can forget about its effect,
I can't believe just hearing that song,
Still has such a powerful effect.
