what's an ego
is it something you can't control
is it you being you
or is it something more confident and bold
is it something you want to restrain
to show yourself you can be better
is it better listening to your heart
does that make you feel much clever
an ego
a hero
something that'll push you where you'll never go
an ego is confidence
letting doubt never show
some say ego can be bad
but I wouldn't know
I always follow my heart
or maybe it's my ego
