Fangs of evil sought his ruin,
Venomous lies made short his chance to win,
Friendly fiends brought forth his downfall,
He's but the foe of world and all.
Beguiled was he of fragrant charm,
He gave his all but got back harm!
And so devised a willful wile,
Begone are pain in minute while:
He gulped and drank as much he could,
The goblet of Lone --- an elixir of solitude!
