Elixors Of Death

She's elinor, an eel, sardine and octopus
A gray beginning, and a sea around us
Heart so intricate, mind so deep, yet a fractus
Such that it grew, metastasized, so the raptus
The end of gray, the beginning of nauticus
And so I want to believe, elinor my sea my jazz
Coats so white, robes so tied, nurses so deify
Pills so myriad, bills so crazy, doctors so deity
Like the Mississippi's course across to New Orleans
Or Athi's meanders across nyikas meadows
Like old blue's thirteen, as it wiggles, wriggles
Her cancer proliferated, her body obliterated
Like she was a riddle, they fiddled while I jingled
Cancer, a panorama of life's course
Like a river, elinor's course, pebbled, grain-coarse
At its gather it faints, as it roared it stalled
Down the abyss, she abrased and crocked
Just that she would just be a spring again
Such that she would be panacean
Or so her gray would be golden
Or just might be, the sea around us
My elinor my elixir
