The feeling of embarrassment
Is one that I know all too well
It's that feeling you get
When you trip and fall
And everyone around you starts to laugh
It's that feeling you get
When you say something stupid
And everyone around you starts to stare
It's that feeling you get
When you're the only one
Who doesn't know the answer
And everyone around you starts to whisper
It's a feeling that's all too familiar
And one that I wish I could forget
But it seems like embarrassment
Is here to stay
Especially when you do me this way.
