Embracing the Journey: Beyond Youth

Simeon Austin David Pangu
I can't stay young forever, it's a fact of life
The years go by, and I age, free from strife
The innocence of childhood, a distant memory
And the dreams I had, now a distant entity
I used to run and play, with boundless energy
And I felt that life was endless, a never-ending spree
But now I see, that time flies by so fast
And I know that I can't stay young forever, that's a fact
The wrinkles on my face, tell a story untold
Of laughter, love and heartache, of victories and failures old
I've learned so much, from the journey I've been on
And I know that I can't stay young forever, it's gone
But still, I hold on to the memories of the past
And I embrace the present, with a joy that will last
For age is just a number, a small part of the plan
And I know that I can find happiness, even if I can't stay young again
I'll cherish the moments, the laughter and the tears
And I'll embrace the journey, with no regrets or fears
For youth may fade, but wisdom and love remain
And I know that I can find peace, even if I can't stay young again.
