I can almost see your face in the fog.
I can almost feel your fingers on my skin.
I long for your touch your kiss.
I long to hear my name on your lips.
I long hold in the night under the stars.
I blink and your gone nothing can stop you leaving.
I close my eyes spin in a circle while calling out your name, still you are gone.
I could lie and say I like it like that.
I reach for you in the dark but find nothing.
But nothing is better sometimes once we have said our goodbyes.
I cling to the hope that someday I'll finally be able to hold you.
I believe that's what keeps me sain in the dark.
