Empathy, a word of grace,
A virtue that we all should embrace.
For in its essence, we find a way
To connect with others in a meaningful way.
It's easy to forget in life's daily grind,
The power of empathy to ease the mind.
To listen, to understand, to feel,
To walk a mile in someone else's heel.
Through empathy, we build bridges strong,
Uniting hearts that have been wronged.
A simple act of kindness can go a long way,
To make someone's life a little brighter today.
Embracing diversity, we find new light,
In perspectives and ideas, that broaden our sight.
Empathy is the key to unlock the door,
To a world of understanding, and so much more.
So let us practice empathy in our daily life,
To be a source of hope, in a world of strife.
Let us choose to connect, with all we meet,
And make this world, a better place to be.
